DENVER DUBSTEP

Saturday night at Cervantes Other Side, the one and only Icicle was on stage and above the decks, bringing Denver a proper dose of DnB to go with the perfectly fitted two feet of snow we received the night before. Teaming up with Recon, and bringing in extra bass support for supreme chest rattling, the night got started early with Dayquill kicking things off. Gorteks v. Automated Prayer brought the DnB heat afterwards, spinning the crowd into madness before Caustik hit the stage, delivering a much-anticipated set that was deep and dark. His style is right on point with the direction we are headed in 2012, so look out for more of him as the year moves forward. The main man, Icicle, hit the stage afterwards with his signature blend of DnB and Dubstep, though this particular set featured more a of a DnB vibe, something that went over extremely well with Denver's longtime curators of the scene. For two hours, Denver was treated to some of the highest quality bass music the genre has to offer, and the party didnt stop until the lights came on at 2!
