We coulnd't have asked for a better way to celebrate Electronic Tuesdays first birthday. London's drum and bass legend D-Bridge and San Franciscos' Vinja in combination with extra subs and a showcase of the winners of the January DJ battles absolutely smashed a packed and high energy Other Side.

Drift Boost started the night off with super chill subby vibes as Cervantes started filing up. Albeedamned changed the pace with a bangin all moombahton set that had the crowd raging before it hit 10. Alex D. Wolf brought a tightly mixed funky house set to keep the genres of the night constantly changing and the vibe fresh. Our final contestant and winner of the battle, White Robot, dropped the first dubstep bangers of the night that the crowd was eager for while killing it with his signature live drumming. You can find out more about January's overall winner - White Robot - in his interview featured on our Sub.Focus blog here:

Catch White Robot opening up for Tunnidge, Kush Aurora, and Juakali February 25th at Cervantes Masterpiece. Big up for the victory and big up to all our other contestants for coming out and competing.

D-Bridge then took control of the decks and brought one of the best sets Electronic Tuesday's has ever seen. In his first appearance back since Bass Invasion last year, D-Bridge shook the Other Side with a beautifully mixed set of deep drum and bass that took full advantage of the extra low-end. D-Bridge properly showed why he is one of the most important names in the scene while taking the Other Side on a serious ride. Vinja closed out the night from 1-2 with a heavy west-coast dubstep set that satisfied the late night skankers and kept the crowd going off til close.

Our 1st birthday was a perfect example of the variety that we love to promote on Tuesdays, with every artist of the night coming out with their own original style and sound. Thank everyone so much that comes out and supports our local talent every Tuesday. Together we have a created one of the most consistently packed weeklies in the Denver area which provides one of the best crowds to showcase local talent to and also allows us to be able to bring out headlining artists that are pushing new underground sounds that are far from the mainstream. We couldn't have done it without our loyal Sub.mission Tuesday crew. With talk of Tuesdays moving to the main room in Cervantes, it looks like this next year is only going to get bigger and better. Much love Electronic Tuesday crew! See you next week as we celebrate Valentines' Day with Samples, a tag set with Dodger vs. Thorazine and DJ Bluebrain, Candy Cobra, Orchestral Moons of the Lost Gods, and kHoff battling it out!
